Wood Substance Texture

Description

While developing in Substance Designer, I wanted to have a more procedural workflow and rely more on parameters and miniature functions inside of the texture instead of having the entire texture created in only on substance graph. By making this focus, I was able to keep a much more organized workflow while still getting a high level of detail and believability in the texture. I created functions that allowed a user to adjust the number of planks they wanted and the substance graph would update to create either fatter, skinnier, less, more planks based on the parameter inputs. This let me do some very quick iterations to find the optimal size and shape of the planks in general to produce a production ready texture that could be revised on the fly.
