The Burrow Model

Description

This model was another focus on architecture and architectural detail. It is the Weasley's house from the Harry Potter series. I had a reference image of the house that I referred back to throughout the process to keep the same proportions and feel. I focused on this aspect of the model because I wanted to put myself in a production mindset as if I had been handed a concept and needed to bring it into 3D. The parts that added the most interest to the model were the random pieces of the house that either stuck out a little or were a little crooked. Adding these pieces throughout the model allowed the house to feel cohesive and let the eye draw towards the areas of higher interest while maintaining the overall impressions of general awkwardness to the whole structure.
